Whether you are going out of town for a night or two or you’re leaving on an extended vacation, leaving your cat home alone is never the best option. Even if you have a pet sitter or neighbor check on your feline friend, it’s not the same as being cared for in a professional setting. The Cattail Lodge at Rivermist Pet Lodge was designed with the unique needs of cats in mind and offers a safe and comfortable boarding solution for your precious pet. We offer two types of lodging accommodations for cats, and when you choose us for cat boarding in Brinklow, Olney, Columbia, Gaithersburg, or the surrounding areas, you can rest assured that your kitty will receive exceptional care in your absence.

When your cat stays with us, they’ll get to enjoy luxury accommodations complete with soft, cozy bedding, televisions, and year-round climate control. They’ll also have access to our spacious playroom with toys, and they’ll be housed completely separate from our canine guests.

Boarding Policies
We are happy to administer oral or topical medications or supplements to your pets! Medication must be in the original prescribed container with the prescription label adhered.
Please bring enough food for the duration of your pet's boarding stay. You must provide individual prepackaged containers or Ziplock bags with your pet’s name and food measured by meal or a meal packaging fee of $3 per day (max of $15 per boarding stay) will be applied to your pet’s invoice. Canned food and meal toppers are accepted in their original container, but must be labeled with your pet's name.

We also love pampering our guests and offer a wide variety of activities and amenities to customize your cat’s stay. In addition to cat playtimes and cuddle sessions, we offer fun activity packages to keep your feline friend occupied and happy during their stay. We offer Cat Playtimes, Cuddle Times, Special Catch of the Day Treat.
